I planned on taking my daughter to have breakfast with Cinderella on her 5th birthday since she was born. I see that Cinderella's royal table will be closed on her birthday in Jan. 2015 and our trip is booked. What's a good alternative for a princess lover

Hello Amanda!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Birthday celebrations are one of my very favorite reasons for visiting Walt Disney World.

If you are open to switching to a birthday dinner celebration, I suggest booking your meal at 1900 Park Fare located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  This meal is an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet and the offering are fit for any princess.  While you dine, Cinderella and Prince Charming visit you at your table to sign autographs and take pictures.  You may also see Lady Tremaine (Cinderella’s step-mother) and Anastasia and Drizella (stepsisters) who really do put on a show.  They are too funny!  1900 Park Fare is a great alternative for people who can't get a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table.  Another option would be Epcot's Akershus for breakfast, lunch or dinner and dine with other princesses like Belle, Jasmine, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.  If your little one is picky, like mine, I would suggest trying to go there for breakfast.  If you do eat at Akershus in Epcot, you will need to use a park pass to gain entrance into the restaurant.  So unless you have Park Hopper Passes, you will want to plan your day around that.

I hope one of these suggestions will work out for your daughter's birthday.  I just know whatever you all decide to do will be practically perfect in every way.  If you have any other questions before your trip, I'd love for you to come back here and ask me.  Have a great day!
