Pandora Family Floating Mountains

Hello :) I planned a very last minute trip and now have 3 day passes but don't know if I should do Magic Kingdom for 2 days and then Epcot or Animal Kingdom for the last day. I can't afford to add the hopper, otherwise I totally would. Advice?

    Hi Lesley,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Oh wow - you are arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort soon! Hooray for spur of the moment trips!

Two days in Magic Kingdom sounds perfect. Since Pandora  - The World of Avatar recently opened, I would suggest you visit Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park on your third day. Although you probably would not be able to secure a Fast Pass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage, I definitely recommend that you get to the park before it opens and head to get in the stand-by line right away. Flying over Pandora on the back of an ikran - AMAZING.

Or, you could try making a pre-park opening breakfast reservation at Tusker House Restaurant. Just pay attention to the park hours for the day you plan to visit Animal Kingdom. As long as you go on a day when there are not early morning extra magic hours, you can try to do a breakfast reservation for 8:00 a.m. Then eat quickly and head directly to Avatar Flight of Passage. When I checked Sunday, September 3 for two guests, they had a reservation at 8:20 a.m.

Lesley, on your expedition through Pandora, you must also take a ride through the Valley of Mo'ara on Na'vi River Journey. On Pandora you can marvel at the floating mountains and grab a quick bite to eat in Satu'li Canteen. Of course, there are other amazing experiences at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. We always ride Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and DINOSAUR. On our last visit, we also did the Rivers of Light dining package and Caring for Giants tour - fantastic!

As we say on Pandora, Sivako! Rise to the challenge,
