    Lisa Asked

Planned our first Disney visit with our kids in July. Staying at Disney's Art of Animation and plus dining meal plan. Booked all of our dinners in Epcot. Dinners around 6:00. Will this be feasible seeing that we need to return to our hotel to get ready?

    Hi Lisa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  I think you are asking if you can see everything in a theme park from park opening to some time in the afternoon so that you can return to your hotel, get ready for dinner, and then get over to Epcot.  If you are only visiting each theme park once, then the answer is "no".  There are a lot of attractions to experience in all of the theme parks.

However, if you are asking if this is a good plan, then I think the answer is "yes".  In my opinion, the best dining at Walt Disney World is in the World Showcase section of Epcot and at some of the resort hotels.  If you are staying at Disney long enough to spend a couple of days in at least a couple of the theme parks, then I think you are fine!  If you are only spending one day in each park, then this is still a good plan if trying some of the amazing restaurants at Walt Disney World is more important than hitting another attraction.

I have been to Walt Disney World many times where I've just gone for dinner and didn't do any attractions.  It really depends on what you want to do with your limited time!  By the way, you don't need to return to your hotel to get ready for dinner.  You can just head from wherever you are straight to your restaurant in Epcot!

Good luck with your decision, and write back if you have any more questions!
