Planing a trip for 4 adults (grand parents and us), an 8 year old and a set of Irish Twins (1 and 2 year old). We are trying to decide the best value for the hotel. Do you recommend 2 rooms or a suite at a value resort. We will use 2 cribs (we will bring).

    Hi Jennifer,

A key difference between the family suites and standard value resort rooms is that the family suites have a small kitchenette with an extra sink, a coffee maker, and a microwave (both types of rooms have small refrigerators). If heating meals/snacks in your room is important, then you should go with the family suite. The Art of Animation family suites are newer and nicer than those at All Star Music, but may be priced a little higher.

Another difference between suites and standard rooms is the number and type of sleep surfaces. If you're in a family suite, you'll have to have adults sleeping on pull-out couch beds, but in the standard rooms everyone will have a real bed.

I personally feel that the Art of Animation food court and pool are better than those at any of the other value resorts. If I had to choose, that's where I'd stay, but if you don't want to sleep on a pull down bed, then you're better off elsewhere.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
