Hi, we are planing our first vacation to Disney Walt theme parks. What character dinning restaurants do you recommend for a 6 year old boy? Thanks.

    Hi Yuan,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Congratulations on planning your first Disney World vacation. There are loads of character dining options for a six-year old boy, depending on which characters he likes and which parks you are visiting.

One of my son's favorites when he was six was the Crystal Palace, which is located in the Magic Kingdom, and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All three meals are hosted by Winnie the Pooh and friends. Another great option is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort, where you'll see Mickey and Pals. If you are going to Epcot, I'd also recommend the Garden Grill, which is located in the Land Pavilion. The restaurant slowly rotates around, which can be really fun for kids.

Be sure to book any dining reservations, especially character dining, well in advance.

    Have a great vacation!
