Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

We are planing our first trip this August and we are excited. We are traveling with two groups. Can one group make the reservations for both groups for one of the table service meals if we are on the dinning plan? Thanks for the help

It doesn't matter who makes the reservation. I have traveled to WDW with my parents. Sometimes I make the reservations for the whole group, sometimes my dad does. I have also made the reservations for just my folks and have even made reservations for friends with whom I am not traveling.

That being said, there are two things you should consider:

    - Is your communication good? Whoever makes the reservation needs to let everyone know all the pertinent information: location and time of the reservation, confirmation number. Also, the person making the reservation needs to know the needs of all members of the party: ages of the children, food allergies, etc., so that they can have this noted on the reservation.

    - A few of the meals at WDW require a credit card to hold the reservation, regardless of whether the party is on the Disney Dining Plan. There are penalties for no-shows not canceled within a stated time frame. If you're making reservations for one of these restaurants, all members of the group need to respect that so that one person does not get stuck footing the bill for a non-compliant party member.

It sounds like you have a great trip planned. Enjoy!
