I am planing a family vacation for the week of March 14-18. I, nor anyone in my family, have never been to Disney. I thought it would be something nice that my husband, 3 yr. old son, and self could experience together for the first time. Any ideas?

Hi Crystal! Your family will absolutely enjoy a magical and memorable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you booked your stay at a Disney resort you will have access to Disney's Magical Express, a complimentary motor coach from Orlando's International Airport available exclusively to Disney resort guests. Furthermore, you may add a Disney Dining Plan to your Disney vacation package. Your visit coincides with the beginning of Spring Break for several schools, and you'll find that most parks will be fairly well attended. Therefore, it is essential to have a basic touring plan during your visit, particularly if your tickets do not include the Park Hopper option. For your dates I would recommend visiting the parks in the following order:

Monday 3/14/11: Magic Kingdom or Epcot

    Tuesday 3/15/11: Hollywood Studios

    Wednesday 3/16/11: Magic Kingdom

    Thursday 3/17/11: Epcot

    Friday 3/18/11: Animal Kingdom

I suggest you arrive at each park at least ten minutes prior to Rope Drop, the daily opening ceremonies. Our favorite is the one in Magic Kingdom, but they are all quite good. Your family will love many of the attractions at each of the parks. In addition, it might be a good idea to make Advanced Dining Reservations on-line or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Your family will love Disney Character Dining so be sure to book at least one during your stay. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Have a memorable First Visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
