When we plan on going to Walt Disney World our son will be 23 months. Are there any rides for kids that young, maybe ones where he can sit on our laps? We don't want to do the baby swap since we don't want to ride alone.

There are plenty of rides for toddlers.  I would say that your son will be able to go on the majority of the rides at Magic Kingdom.  Some of the not to be missed rides would include, Pirates of the Caribbean, Its A Small World, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin

The best place to find lots of information on traveling throughout Walt Disney World with a toddler would be Little Ones Magical Beginnings home page.  There you will get lists of all the age appropriate rides and shows as well as a printable activity book and helpful tips.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
