Hi! 7/1-7/5..DS9&DS4. Plan to visit all 4 parks plus waterparks and Disney QUest, please help me plan for limited time on vacation. Also ADR on 7/2 at 11:30a and 7/3 8pm. Is DS9 too big for a stroller? Bring snacks in park? What fun things for DS9? TIA

Hey, Brandy! Wow, you've got some ambitious plans for a 5-day visit to WDW! My usual advice is to plan at least one day for each of the 4 theme parks, 4-6 hours in each of the water parks and 2-4 hours at DisneyQuest. Therefore, my suggestion is to purchase a 4-day park hopper pass and just concentrate on the theme parks, and reserve the water parks and DQ for a return trip. You will be visiting during one of the busiest times of the year which will require more time (and patience) as you commute from your resort to the parks. Plus, once you're at the parks, it will take longer to accomplish those must-do's on your list!

Yet, based on your desire to do it all (and without knowing if your days include travel or where your ADRs are), I took at look at park hours, Extra Magic Hours and event schedules while you're there and here's what I suggest trying to squeeze it all in:

    Thursday -- Blizzard Beach (10-3)/Rest (3-8)/Epcot (8-12)

    Friday -- Studios (8-12)/Rest (12-8)/MK (8-3)

    Saturday -- Rest (until 12)/Typhoon Lagoon (12-5)/Downtown Disney & DQ (5-10)

    Sunday -- AK (9-1)/Rest (1-7)/MK (7-2)

    Monday -- Studios (8-12)/Rest (12-5)/AK or Epcot (until 9/10)

Obviously, this is jam-packed, and I've listed rest in the schedule which will include travel times, pool time and special meals. Don't waste park time on sit-down meals since your time there is precious. Also, I wouldn't bring/rent a separate stroller for your 9-year-old unless he has mobility issues, and it's always a good idea to bring bottled water and a few snacks into the parks. It not only saves money but valuable time waiting in line to purchase snacks.

There is so much for all of you to do and see as a family that your time will pass by like a dream. Send me more information about your trip, and I'll be glad to answer your pointed questions. Thanks for visiting me on the Moms Panel. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
