We plan to visit one or both water parks. My 10-year-old and myself are diabetic and use an insulin pump that has to be removed when in the water. Will there be a safe place to keep them, but not too far when we eat and need to take insulin?

Hi, Sheryl!  I spoke with a Cast Member at Blizzard Beach today, and he offered two options for storing your insulin pump.  The first location was with First Aid Services, which will allow you to keep refrigerated any supplies needing refrigeration.  The alternative is to store your pumps in a locker.

Because of the size of the park, there isn't really a way to tell you which would be the better, closer option for you.  As you will probably be taking advantage of many of the attractions offered at Blizzard Beach, at any given time, you are likely to be a pretty good distance away from your pump.

I would say that you should choose the spot that is most going to work for your family.  You may find that you choose a location to just use as a "home base" - and then you can store your insulin pump in whichever location is closer.  If it helps, I have in the past used First Aid to store my own insulin to keep it safe from the Florida heat, and that worked well for me.

    I hope that helps!
