I would like to plan a vacation where we can visit ALL of the theme parks within a weeks stay? What type of ticket will i have to buy in order to go to all of the parks?

    Hey Ashley-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With a week at Walt Disney World Resort you will see and experience the magic, fun and adventure. There are a few of ways of planning your time. Many families plan four to five park days and some days to relax and enjoy their resort while others will go into the theme parks when they open (this is called “rope drop”) and stay until early afternoon. They return to their resorts and rest, swim, eat, play, etc. until early evening and then return to the parks. The last group, the Theme Park Warriors, arrive before “rope drop” and stay until the park closes. Young children may need a mid-day break while teens and adults may want the full day experience. Without some scheduled downtime you will be exhausted. Theme parks are so exciting and Mickey has spared no expense to bring his friends the best entertainment. Knowing how many days you want to spend in the parks will determine the ticket to purchase. The Park Hopper option is typically not needed with a long visit because there is a plethora of entertainment at every park including parades and fireworks showcases. If you are big water park lovers then you may what to buy a ticket with less theme park days and add a Water Parks Fun and More option to your ticket.

Ticket prices become less expensive per day the more days you purchase. A 2015 3-day Magic Your Way ticket (before tax) is $91.67/day/adult and $85.34/day/child verses a 7-day ticket which is $47.86/day/adult and $45.00/day/child.

I typically plan one theme park/day so the day is more enjoyable. We take at least one day off to play at the resort and recharge.
