    Vickie from SC Asked

I want to plan a vacation that would include us - the grandparents and our son,daughter-in-law and two grandsons. Are there connecting rooms, suites or condo on the resort to accommodate the six of us?

Hi Vickie! Disney World is a great place for several generations of family members to vacation together, and there are lots of accommodations to suit larger families! Disney has resort hotels for all price ranges, and these resorts have connecting rooms available. If you prefer to have two separate rooms, just request connecting rooms when you make the reservation. You can explore the Deluxe, Moderate, and Value resort options at Disney by clicking here

If you'd all like to stay in the same space together, there are several options. If you're on a tight budget, consider the Family Suites at the All-Star Music Resort. The Family Suite accommodates up to 6 people with a bedroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa, 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette.

For a fun resort atmosphere, check out The Cabins at the Fort Wilderness Resort, which also sleep 6. Your family could have its own cabin, complete with a bedroom, a living room with a Murphy bed, a kitchen and a deck. You can rent a golf cart to travel around the resort, which hosts a nightly campfire sing-a-long and marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale. The Fort Wilderness is also the site of the popular Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, a country-western musical and comedy show.

If you'd like even more space, the Treehouse Villas at the Saratoga Springs Resort are individual units elevated 10 feet off the ground and they have over 1000 square feet of living space, including 3 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The Saratoga Springs and several other deluxe resorts at Disney also have villas of various sizes that include kitchens and washers/dryers. You can see options for larger families by clicking here
