We plan on using Resort Airline Check-In when we leave our Disney resort. Can we check-in a boarding pass for a lap child (baby under 2 years old) at the resort? Or do we need to check-in at the Orlando Airport?

    Hi Rachel!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As the mother of four, one of the reasons we love a Walt Disney World vacation is how easy they make it for families to travel. We always use the Resort Airlines Check-in Service before departure. This way we can check our bags through to our final destination and grab our boarding passes. Since we usually take a later flight, we then leave our carry on with Bell Services and head to the parks for a few more hours of fun before the airport.

When we were flying with a lap child, we did still need to stop and check-in in person at the airport, to get the boarding pass for the infant. I just spoke with someone at Resort Airline Check-in for you and they confirmed this is still the case for all airlines. You can use the service to get your own boarding passes and check your luggage, but you will need to visit your airline's specific desk to receive the pass for the child.

Have a magical day, Rachel! Please let us know if you have any additional questions!
