I want to plan a trip to Magic Kingdom, but I don't know where to start

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jenny! You have come to the right place!

Jenny, if this will be your fist visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I hope you’re as excited as I am! There’s nothing I love more than seeing guests experience the magic for the first time. I hope it’s the first of many magical visits.

Magic Kingdom Park is the flagship park of the Walt Disney World Resort, and my personal favorite. There is so much to see and do, you can easily spend more than one day at this park. So, I would start there. How long do you have? If you’re planning to visit just one day, prioritizing is important. Creating a wish list of the attractions you want to experience will help get you started. Browse the list of attractions at this park and start marking the ones that you don’t want to miss! Consider who will be visiting with you. What do you think they might enjoy. Once you have that list, be thinking about meals and breaks. If you want to enjoy a nice sit-down, reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180-days in advance. Character meals are a great way to meet some of your favorite Disney Characters and enjoy a meal and a break. So be sure to plan at least one during your visit.

Once you purchase your tickets, you’ll want to lock in your FastPass+, a time-saving service that allows you to bypass the standby queue, so you can enjoy even more of the magic! You’ll be able to pre-book 3 FastPass+ before you arrive.

My space here is limited, but hopefully this helps give you a jumpstart to your pixie-dusted planning to what will surely be a magical day. Be sure to come back so we can continue assisting you with planning the best day ever.

    See ya real soon!
