I want to plan a trip for Halloween of 2020. Is there a best time to by Halloween tickets as well as reservations Will I get the best deal the earlier I book? Is there any site I might get discounts like AAA? Any tips for Halloween planing. Went in 2001

Are you ready for some frightful fun, Richard? You’ve come to the right place! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, your source for Disneyland Resort Halloween Time magic! It’s always a good idea to plan ahead, especially when it comes to celebrating a holiday as popular as Halloween at the Disneyland Resort. How exciting to return to the Halloween magic 18 years later!

This year, Mickey’s Halloween Party has been magically transformed into the all-new Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park! The announcement was made on the Disney Parks Blog on April 17, 2019, with tickets available to Annual Passholders on April 23, 2019, and to the general public on April 30, 2019. This year, Oogie Boogie Bash runs throughout September and October on select Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Currently, tickets range in price from $110-$145 as the dates get closer to Halloween. Hopefully this information will give you an idea of possible timing for next year’s announcement and celebration, so you can plan accordingly. I recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as they’re announced so you don’t risk missing out! Tickets have been known to sell out in past years.

As for potential discounts, if you’re an Annual Passholder, you’re in luck! This year, Annual Passholders receive discounted ticket prices on select days. Plus, Annual Passholders received that week early head-start I mentioned earlier, too.

There are so many thrilling new experiences coming to Oogie Boogie Bash, including a Disney Villains walk-through experience with spooky surprises around every corner! Plus, a new World of Color show, Villainous, will make its debut this fall. Guests will also be treated to a Descendants-inspired dance party, Mickey’s Trick & Treat stage show, and the classic Frightfully Fun Parade. And of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for trick-or-treating throughout the party.

Though an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket won’t include access to Disneyland Park, it does allow Guests to enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as four hours before the Bash begins.

I hope this information helps you begin planning your frightful adventures in 2020!

Wishing you many happy hauntings at the Spookiest Place on Earth!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!”
