    Starlean from WA Asked

I plan on traveling by myself. Are there any special things that I should be thinking about as a single guest?

    Hi, Starlean!
I'm thrilled you have a chance to spend time in Walt Disney World Resort on your own. I've had a chance to enjoy the resort by myself and I had so much fun!

Here are some things to consider: If you like to ride attractions in the parks, Test Track, Rock n Rollercoaster, and Expedition Everest have single rider lines so you don't really need a FastPass+ reservation to enjoy. I have also used time on my own to see what it's like to use a Park Hopper ticket and visit all four parks in one day. (It's super doable and so much fun.)

Another fun part about being in the parks on your own is you can try out all the snacks! You can even try a "cupcake crawl" where you visit all of the bakeries across the parks, hotels, and Disney Springs. It's a lot of sugar but worth all those extra delicious calories!

Other experiences I enjoy on my own are sitting at a bar and ordering a meal at places like California Grill and Disney Hollywood Studios' 50's Prime Time Cafe

I hope those are some fun ideas for doing Disney on your own! I promise you will have an unforgettable time!

Meet the Panelist: Jen, Missouri

I’m a mom, wife and goldendoodle dog owner who is not afraid to ride a fast roller coaster again and again. I love to travel - which is good since I telework with a job in Washington, DC. I’ve visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times and it’s fed into my belief that you’re never too old to have fun. I run when I can and recently earned my runDisney Coast to Coast medal! I also love photography and founded an online special needs community. Learn More About Jen
