I plan to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter. We'll only be there a night or two. We have family who live in the area who want to visit us at the hotel and traveling to Disney Springs as a group from there. Are there any visitor restrictions?

    Hi Ann,

I love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  What a great resort you've chosen!  Make sure that you don't just go straight from Disney transportation to your room every day.  I've been guilty of that.  You will want to explore the beautiful cobblestone streets.  Also, try to fit in the gorgeous walk by Sassagoula River that leads to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.  In fact, if you're using Disney transportation, I would recommend you take the walk and catch a bus to your destination from that resort.

Your family is welcome to visit you at your hotel and travel with you to Disney Springs.  It sounds like a lot of fun!  You won't have any trouble with having visitors.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.  Wishing you a very magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort!
