We plan to sign up for Jedi Training (first thing in the morning), how do we navigate the Fast Pass+ sign ups for the day? Not sure what our assigned times for Jedi Training will be and wouldn't want that to affect our Fast Pass rides.

    Hey, Megan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Sounds to me like you have a force-sensitive child who is ready to battle the Dark Side at Walt Disney World Resort.

Make sure to hop on your transport and arrive at the gates of Disney’s Hollywood Studios 30 minutes before you will be allowed in the theme park (includes days with Morning Extra Magic Hours). Sign ups for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple take place at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost for each of the 20 daily shows. Every takes around 30 younglings. If you have FastPass+ or dining reservations let the Cast Member know and request a training time that works with your plans.

Please note that both a parent and padawan must be together to sign up for training.

Disney Dad Tip 1: The show is about 25 minutes but you should budget 60 minutes. Parents will not need to accompany their children after they arrive at the pre-show location. A Jedi Master will lead the padawans to the Temple. I suggest asking a Jedi where to stand because the closer to the “Temple” training site you get, the better the pictures and video you will have.

Disney Dad Tip 2: Training spots will fill fast during busy seasons. I typically plan Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple for early to mid-afternoon. This allows for an enjoyable morning of attractions and the ability to get more FastPass+ reservations that day.

Megan, may the Force be with you.
