We plan to ride Splash Mountain as a family, but since we have 1 toddler will we have to leave him at a Child Care Service? My friend mentioned there is some sort of pass, where half of us ride it and hold baby and switch on the next round.

    Hi Cindy!

You definitely won't leave your toddler at child care services while you enjoy riding the attractions at Walt Disney World. Disney offers an awesome benefit for parents with young children called the Rider Switch Pass. You can use this pass when you want to ride an attraction in which your little one can't or doesn't want to.

It's easy as pie! Simply visit the Cast Member at the front of the attraction, in this case Splash Mountain, and make sure your entire party is with you at the time. Ask for a rider switch pass, and one adult can ride the attraction, with the rest of the family, while the other adult stays with the toddler. When the family returns, the other adult may ride (either alone or with one other guest in your party). You will  redeem the Rider Switch Pass to go through the Fast Pass line to ride the attraction, and the other adult will stay with the child.

The Rider Switch pass is available at all four parks at select attractions.

    Magically,
    Stacy
