I plan on requesting a DAS card (for myself) on my next trip. Can I use this in conjunction with Rider Switch since I’d only be boarding the ride once?

    Hi Kerri!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy you've returned to ask another fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.  It's my pleasure to help you out today.

I have a child on the autism spectrum and we use the Disability Access Service or DAS on each vacation we take. I am happy to share how it has worked with our family in hopes that gives you some answers for yourself.  Guests who require a wheelchair or scooter to get around do not need a DAS.  Scooters and wheelchairs can go through most lines and the ones they can't a Cast Member will work with them to board the attraction in a timely fashion.  DAS is intended to be used by Guests who can not wait in a normal queue. Once you have a DAS you will head to the Cast Member at the front of the attraction and they will scan your ticket and apply a return time to it according to the current wait time for the attraction. When it is time to return head to the FastPass+ queue and let the Cast Member know you are using a DAS pass. They will scan your ticket and let you in the FastPass+ line. I have a family of five and all five of us were linked to my child and could do this with him so he was not the only one entering the FastPass+ queue.  You can use DAS in conjuction with Disney FastPass+. For example you have a 9:00 a.m. FastPass+ selection for Pirates of the Caribbean.  Before you enter your 9:00 a.m. FastPass+ you could walk to Jungle Cruise and ask for a DAS return time. You will than ride Pirates and afterwards your time should be almost available for your Jungle Cruise DAS return. You can only have one DAS return time selection made and it must be used or cancelled by a Cast Member before you can get another.

    I hope this has helped.
