I plan to use Magical Express for arrival and resort airline check-in for departure. I have read that we must first pay airline fees for checked baggage thru BAGS. Are these just standard fees or is there an addition fee using this service?

    Hey Randy!

I am so glad you are taking advantage of Disney's Magical Express free airport transportation service. You will be happy to know there is no additional fee to use the Resort Airline Check-in service at your Walt Disney World resort.

A couple of notes to help you make the most unMAGICAL part of your vacation goes a little smoother:

    • While some airlines are lenient when it comes to slightly overweight bags, Resort Airline Check-In Service IS NOT. Since they are a third party vendor they MUST strictly adhere to the airline policies for luggage weight.
    • Be sure the check the list of participating airlines which offer this service. If your airline is not on the list you will simply take your luggage with your on Magical Express.
    • Resort Airline Check-In must be completed at least three hours prior to your scheduled departure.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about Disney's Magical Express or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
