How do I plan for 2 days at MK with 6,4,2 yo in August? Day one FP at Mtn Rail, Seven dw and jungle cruise about one hour apart. How would you suggest rotating through the park with those ages in mind? We plan on taking afternoon breaks for nap/swim.

    Hi Andrew!

You have made some great FastPass+ selections and you should have no problem experiencing all of these attractions with their return time frames being 1 hour apart. The key to your park touring is understanding that there is a 1 hour window in which you may enter the FastPass+ queue. Therefore if you go to your first FastPass+ attraction at the beginning of its 1 hour window but do not arrive to your second FastPass+ attraction until the end of its 1 hour window that gives you 2 hours to do 2 attractions.  Even for attractions that are in different sections of the park you will have plenty of time.

For a family with young children I suggest arriving to the Magic Kingdom prior to park opening. There are fewer Guests at this time and children have more energy in the morning. Personally I also like using touringplans.com for some basic theme park touring plans.

For your first Magic Kingdom day I recommend going straight to Fantasyland and New Fantasyland at park opening and using the standby queues for the first part of your day.  Later when it is time for your first FastPass+ selection you should go to Frontierland and ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at the beginning of its FastPass+ window.  Afterwards consider using the standby queue for Splash Mountain (Rider Switch for the littlest one) and then gradually make your way back to New Fantasyland and the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train. When you are finished there, head over to Adventureland for the Jungle Cruise and the other fun attractions in that area.

Have a MAGICAL vacation! Please let us know if you have any further questions about your vacation planning. We are happy to help!
