Mom And Son On Run

Is there a place or a time that adults can tend to? My boyfriend and I don't have kids so we was wondering if there is anything that's adult friendly. We don't mind kids at all, but was wondering what adult stuff is there to do?

    Hi Amie,

My husband and I visited the Walt Disney World Resort a dozen times before we had our son - it’s an AMAZING vacation destination for anyone, with or without kids.

My husband and I love going out for dinner while we’re on vacation and you’ll be spoiled for choice if you like fine dining experiences. The California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is probably our favourite restaurant anywhere. It has an amazing wine list, delicious food, impeccable service… with a pretty unique amazing view of the Walt Disney World Resort.

One of the things that I miss from our pre-kid visits was the ability to walk at a leisurely pace through Epcot’s World Showcase, poking through all of the shops while sipping on different frosty beverages.

If you're interested in getting a behind-the-scenes look at the way that Magic is made at the Walt disney World Resort, I highly recommend doing Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour. In this exclusive tour, you'll unlock the fascinating history of Magic Kingdom Park and gain backstage access to legendary hidden areas.

Finally, other fun adult activities outside of the Theme Parks can be found at the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I recently had the chance to do the Ride-Along Experience and it was an unbelievably experience. If either you or your boyfriend have a need for speed, I highly recommend it!

Have fun planning your next trip and please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
