    Julie from PA Asked

Is there a place where I can take my three year old and two year old niece to see the characters by reservation? We are only coming to the park for one day and we are not staying in a hotel.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us. Guests are unable to make reservations for Character Meet and Greets at the Disneyland Resort, but there are few ways to avoid having to wait in long lines for a photo or autograph.

Julie, I have found that a fun way to meet some of our favorite Disney characters without waiting in long lines is to do a Character Dining. My daughter and I recently enjoyed Breakfast with Minnie & Friends at the Plaza Inn. Some of the Characters who interacted with us at our table included Pooh Bear, Minnie Mouse, Captain Hook, Chip, Dale, and Max. It was very entertaining and we both had an amazing time. If your nieces are interested in dining with Disney Princesses, I suggest giving Breakfast or Lunch Celebration at Ariel's Grotto in Disney California Adventure Park a try.

Another way to see your favorite Disney Princesses is to schedule a Castle Package at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disneyland Park. This package includes an escorted mini-processional to Fantasy Faire and priority entry to Royal Hall to meet a few beloved Disney Princesses.

If you are a Chase Visa Cardmember, there are also opportunities to meet Disney Characters without having to wait in long lines. We recently met Minnie Mouse at the private Cardmember location in Disney California Adventure with a fairly short wait.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan your upcoming trip with your young nieces, Julie. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
