Are there any Pin "Scavenger Hunts" going on currently similar to Pin Quest?

Hello Jamie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I thoroughly enjoyed the PinQuest Disney Trading Pin Scavenger Hunt when I stumbled upon it during a visit to Magic Kingdom. Like you, I was hoping that this was only the first in many Walt Disney World Resort activities that combined an interactive experience with a unique Disney pin.

No information has been released by the Disney Parks Blog or Disney Parks Merchandise announcing a new Trading Pin activity at this time. I check both sites regularly for any and all information regarding Disney Trading Pins and would be the first in line for any new experience.

In lieu of a new formal Disney Trading Pin Scavenger Hunt, allow me to recommend two makeshift Scavenger Hunts that I completed with my kids during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations.

Around World Showcase at Epcot, kids are rewarded with one of the redesigned Mickey Ears Country Flag Pins for learning how to say a particular phrase from an International Cast Member located at the pavilion.

After defeating a Disney villain through Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, the villain in question is trapped inside of  a Disney Trading Pin.

While these two scavenger hunts require you to track down the reward pins on your own (and they won't be exclusive), I find the completion of a task adds a special something to collecting Disney Trading Pins.

    Happy Trading!
