How many pictures do you think you take in a day or a week? I want pics of the attractions and especially the animals at AK. I haven't been since '01, so lots to document; want to be sure the memory card is big enough for the day.

You're asking this question of some crazed Disney photographers. Just to give you a sense of how much the Moms Panel likes to document our time at Disney, let me tell you about our training trip in December. We were together for about three days. All 12 of us brought our own cameras -- of course
:-). After we got home, we decided that we wanted to pool the photos we took. So everyone on the Panel sent me their pictures and I complied them onto CDs. It turned out that in those 3 days, we took over 1,000 photos, and much of our trip was backstage where we weren't even allowed to take photos.

In a typical week long trip to WDW, I usually take about 1,000 photos myself. I have a Canon 8 mp Digital SLR. I tend to go deep into two 4 GB memory cards on each trip. I fully admit that I am on the far end of crazy about my Disney pictures. But if you're an avid photographer, maybe this will give you a benchmark. If you need extra supplies, the camera care center on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom carries batteries and most kinds of memory cards.

    Have a great trip!
