I have a VERY picky 5 year old. Can I bring outside (quick service) food into a table service restaurant for her to eat? At Be Our Guest or Jungle Navigation Co. Skipper's Canteen, specifically? I really want to enjoy these restaurants!

    Hi Lauren!

I can totally understand where you're coming from when it comes to picky eaters. While I don't have particularly picky eaters in my own family, I'm a preschool teacher and I've seen it all! I understand how important it is to you to want to provide your child with a meal she will actually eat, while you dine at the locations you're wanting to enjoy!

I certainly don't think it would be an issue for you to bring food in for your child to eat at the restaurants that you mentioned. Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members want every guest to have the most amazing experience possible, and I'm sure they would be understanding about your picky eater!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is an amazing dining experience. The restaurant has three dining rooms: The Grand Ballroom, The Castle Gallery, and The West Wing. Moms Panel Tip: If you look up at the mural on the ballroom ceiling, you'll see paintings of cherubs. The cherubs have faces of Disney Imagineers' babies, faces of the Imagineers when they were babies, and a few have adult Imagineer faces on baby bodies! When visiting the West Wing, keep your eyes on the portrait on the wall - when lightning strikes, you may see it change!

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is also one of my favorites. The bold and flavorful menu items are perfect for adventurers looking to refuel. Same-day reservations and walkups are accepted, which makes it a great spot for an adventurer on-the-go! My favorite appetizer is the  S.E.A. Shu Mai - delicious steamed dumplings with pork, shrimp, edamame and spices. Moms Panel Tip: the dipping sauce that comes with the Shu Mai is on the spicy side!

I hope this helps with your planning - have a magical day! - Diane W.
