I have a very picky six year old when it comes to food. If he is with us at the table for a sit down meal but doesn't order any food, will our dining plan be charged for his seat at the table?

    Hi Beth,

I have a picky eater in my house too. I totally understand your situation.

Assuming that your son does not actually eat anything, then he is welcome to sit at the table without having Dining Plan credits deducted from your account. Similarly, you could order separate food for him and pay for it out of pocket without any deduction of Dining Plan credits. Be sure to explain your needs to your server before you order your meal.

I was at Walt Disney World this past weekend and actually had several situations where members of our party wanted to sit at the table but not eat. There was never a problem with this at the restaurants. My friends were simply charged (cash) for the beverages they consumed, but nothing for food.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World.
