Hi! I've picked dates for our next Disney vacation! What do you recommend as a timeline for actually booking the reservation? If a special offer is available later, can we adjust our reservation to take advantage of the offer? See you in 2016, Mickey!

    Hi Sybil,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I recommend you book your 2016 Walt Disney World vacation as soon as you possibly can. Why? First, your Walt Disney World Resort reservation allows you to make Advanced Dining Reservations for your entire stay (up to ten days) once you are 180 days from arrival. You can also make your FastPass+ selections for your entire stay when you are 60 days from arrival.

If a special offer becomes available, you either need to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or your travel agent as soon as you hear of the offer. They are frequently available only on a limited basis, so to ensure that you get the discount or deal, you will need to call and see if you can modify your existing reservation. You are always welcome to modify your reservation based on availability at the time of your call.

Sybil, I hope this helps! Happy planning!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
