Hi. Can I pick up a Guest Assistance Card for my non-verbal, disabled son without using my ticket to get in a park? We'll be there 4/10-4/13 and have a 3 day park-hopper pass. I'd like to pick up card on the 10th and visit the parks the 11-13.

    Hi Tracy!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I too have a child who has used the Disability Access Services or DAS card in the past and am familiar with the process. The process was revised a few years ago and now the Guest needing the DAS card must be present and a photo will be taken. Additionally, DAS cards are issued at the Guest Relations main entrance locations and are linked to your My Disney Experience Account, and in turn linked to your MagicBand and/or plastic ticket card. Please keep in mind that although it is called a "DAS card", a paper card is no longer provided. It is all digital and paperless. The process is relatively quick and I recommend that you visit Guest Relations when you enter the park on the 11th. If you go the day before, you will have to utilize a ticket to enter the parks to get the DAS card and in my opinion that's not really necessary. Hope this helps!

Quick Tip: The two attractions in Star Wars: Galaxy's EdgeMillennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are extremely popular! If you are planning to visit Star Wars; Galaxy's Edge, be sure to arrive early to Disney's Hollywood Studios in order to join a Boarding Group to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. You will be able to use the DAS card once you join a Boarding Group. Also be sure to download the My Disney Experience App which is where you can join the Boarding Groups once you enter the park.

Tracy, thank you for giving us the opportunity to help you plan your vacation and please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
