We have the photo memories package. How do we know who is with who on the rides to save our pictures together if we are in different carts. Do we all scan our bands when entering a ride or just one person from our group, does it matter which band is scan?

Hello Pamela, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I absolutely love the ease and convenience of the Memory Maker product. Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers to an amazing job of capturing those extra magical moments during my Disney vacations. Photographers will scan your MagicBand after they take your photo in the parks, resorts or in Disney Springs. When it comes to capturing your onboard ride photos and videos, those are uploaded to your Memory Maker account through the use of “Disney magic.” As long as everyone is connected to you in My Disney Experience, it will not make a difference which MagicBand gets scanned.

Anyone who is linked to your My Family and Friends List in My Disney Experience, who is also sharing their photos with you, will automatically have their photos added to your Memory Maker account. If there are members of your travel party that you are not connected to, you will need to send them an invitation to connect to you in My Disney Experience. To make sure your family and friends are sharing photos, sign in to your My Disney Experience account and click on the My Family & Friends tab. Click on the word “update” next to their name. Make sure that you are sharing your “My Disney PhotoPass Photos” by checking the box and save. Your family members should do the same. Be sure to edit, crop, and download all of your photos before they expire.

    Say cheese,
    Andrea
