    Shirley from AZ Asked

Is it permitted to bring Service emotional support dogs to the park?

    Hey there, Shirley!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are going to have such a magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth!

At the Disneyland Resort, a service animal is defined as "any dog or miniature horse trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability." Guests must have full control over their animal, and animals should be kept on a leash or harness while visiting at all times. Disney values all Guests with disabilities and welcomes service animals in many locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. Service animals are not allowed on many attractions and may be required to be in a portable kennel with another member of your party while you ride.

If your dog is not a trained certified service animal, there is a wonderful Disneyland Resort Kennel Club right outside the Disneyland Park entrance where you can visit your pet throughout the day to feed them and take them for walks. Reservations for this kennel are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved in advance, so arrive early! There are no overnight accommodations for pets here, and you will only pay one flat rate for the entire day. I hope this information is helpful, and please be sure to reach out to the Disney Disability Services team at (407) 560-2547.

Thanks, and I hope your trip is practically perfect in every way!
