What perks are there for Disney Visa cardholders? Other than the discounts on shopping that is? It is benificial to upgrade to the premier card?

    Hi Rebekah!!!

We have been Disney Visa Cardmembers since it originally came out.  We love collecting the Disney Dream Reward Dollars and using them on our Walt Disney World Vacations!!  As soon as I found out about the Disney Premier Visa Card, I was immediately ready to join!!!

The main perks that each card offers are the Disney Dream Reward Dollars.  With the Disney Premier Visa you get 2% in reward dollars at gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores, and most Disney locations.  You get 1% on all other purchases.  With the Regular Disney Visa, you get 1% in reward dollars for all purchases.  The other main difference in the two is that you can redeem your Disney Dream Reward Dollars to pay for airline tickets with the Premier Visa.  You cannot do this with the Regular Visa.

Both of the cards share the following perks:  Private Character Meet and Greet Daily at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World with free 5x7 picture, various shopping discounts, and special Disney Vacation financing.  The Disney Premier Visa does have a $49 Annual Fee, but it does have more perks.  So far, we have loved having the Disney Premier Visa as we have received many more Disney Dream Reward Dollars than we did with the Regular Disney Visa.

If you are debating on either one, I would suggest the Disney Premier Visa!!!

    Thank you for your question!!

    Have a magical day!!
