How many people wide are the seats on Space Mountain in Disney World? Is it a one person or two person wide?

    Hi, Nicole!

It sounds like you are planning to blast off into space on a ride on Space Mountain!  You are in for a real treat. To get a preview of the attraction, hop on the TTA PeopleMover. While it is dark, you can get a glimpse of Space Mountain during your 10 minute tour of Tomorrowland.

The seats on Space Mountain are singles, with each rocket holding a total of 6 guests. For a *bit* of a smoother ride, opt for the front! If you look at the Space Mountain page at Disneyworld.com, you can see a photo of what each rocket looks like. Space Mountain is a very popular attraction, so FastPass+ is highly recommended.

Here is a fun fact for you....While the seats are "singles" in Walt Disney World, if you ever head to Disneyland on the west coast, the seats are doubles. Now you just might need to travel to Disneyland someday to check out the differences!

Wishing you an "out of this world" experience zooming through the galaxy on Space Mountain!
