I see people talking about checking in online 10 days in advance of your arrival to Disney. I was wondering why people would do this and what advandages this had???? Does it take a lot of time to check in in person??

    Hi Jennifer,

I love using Disney's Online Check-in Service - its so easy and makes the process super simple and super fast once you arrive.  There is a separate line for Guests who did their check-in online (look for the signs).  The person whose name is on the reservation will have to present his or her photo ID. They will give you a folder with your Key to the World Cards and resort information and you're good to go.  Its that simple.

In the days before online check-in, there were times we waited in line for awhile at some of the resorts (not often but once we waited over an hour).  This can be especially true if you arrive with lots of other Guests on Magical Express or a tour group.

I think you'll find Disney's Online Check-In Service very convenient and much appreciated if you've had a long day of traveling because it gets you to your room faster and you get to hear "Are we there yet?" one less time.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
