    Cimarron from OR Asked

Hello, I am paying for my dad and I to go to DW in October. For adults that don’t wanna wake up super early, how late does the after park hours(emh)? And how would we be able to sign up for them?

Hi Cimarron! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you are sharing a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your dad!

You are going to enjoy Extra Magic Hours! The benefit is complementary to Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels who have valid theme park admission. You do not have to sign up, you just go and enjoy yourself. As you are enjoying attractions, you will use your magic band or theme park ticket to scan in showing you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If you do not have the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus Option as part of your theme park ticket, you must spend the extra magic hours at the same theme park where you started your day.

The times will vary and are specific to each theme park. As your vacation nears, check the Walt Disney World Resort calendar for theme park hours. Currently, evening Extra Magic Hours are:
    Magic Kingdom: 9:00 pm - 12:00 am or 12:00 am - 2:00 am
    Epcot: 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
    Disney's Hollywood Studios: 10:00 pm - 12:00 am

I also want to encourage you to make FastPass+ selections when planning your vacation. It's the best way for you and your dad to ensure you experience your must-do attractions.

Thanks so for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
