When do you pay for shore adventures?

Welcome aboard, Karen! You must have a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line coming up pretty soon! I love counting down the days until we set sail, and in the meantime, I browse the fun Port Adventures that are available in each port of call. I always find plenty of great options and try to settle on the ones that are the perfect adventures for my family. I'm sure you've discovered some amazing adventures for your cruise too!

During your Online Check-In (which begins 75 days prior to sailing for first time guests, 90 or more days prior for guests who have sailed with Disney before), you'll be able to book Port Adventures. The majority of adventures do not require payment at the time of booking, though there are a select few that do, which will be clearly listed. However, for the most part, you'll simply book the adventure and then confirm it. You'll be all set. Once onboard, you'll receive a ticket in your stateroom upon arrival that gives details as to where and when you'll meet onboard with the rest of your adventure group to head off the ship together to begin your excursion.

You will see the charge for your Port Adventures applied to your stateroom account once you've taken them. However, pay close attention to the cancellation, because even though it may not be charged as you board, you will be charged if you cancel within three days of the ship's departure. So, take some time now to scope out your favorites and get ready to book them once your Online Check-In begins!

    Happy planning, Karen!
