Do you have to pay a parking fee at a resort if you are only going to dinner and not staying there? We are dining at the Grand Floridian one night but not staying at any of the Disney World Resorts. We are staying off site.

    Hello Linda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Thanks for stopping by to ask a wonderful question about parking at Walt Disney World Resort.  I am happy to help answer this for you.

If you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel but will be enjoying a meal at a Disney Resort you will be given complimentary self-parking while you enjoy your dining experience.  Once you arrive at the gate simply inform the Cast Member of your dinner reservation and they will verify the reservation and give you a pass good for a few hours of complimentary parking.  I would advise you have your confirmation number handy just in case they ask for it.   I always have the My Disney Experience mobile app pulled up on my phone and show this to the Cast Member.

I hope this has answered your question.  Feel free to stop in again anytime.  It is always a pleasure to help out fellow Guests.
