Do you have to pay a baggage fee when flying on United using the magical express. We flew United in 2009 and were only charged baggage fee to Orlando not on the return. Is this still true?

    Hi Scott,

Each airline is different. They assess fees on flights. Sometimes fees are waived if you are a member of their frequent flyer program or use one of their credit cards. I recommend checking the airlines web site for information on fees.

Magical Express is separate from airline fees. It is free to guests when you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort. When you use the complimentary airline check-in at a your resort to return home, it is like being at Orlando International Airport and using the curbside check-in. This service is will collect fees because they are a part of the airport and not Disney World. So unless you are flying an airline with no check baggage fees, you will need to pay the fees for your return flight.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
