In the past 3 years, my daughter (10) & I have survived divorce, 13 mos. unemployment, death, & cancer. We are going to WDW to celebrate, we have survived the past 3 yrs. What do we tell them we're celebrating?  trip is 12-5 to 12-7

Your celebrating life....This is your first trip towards the rest of your life.  It's a beginning and a time of celebrating your ability to overcome so many obstacles.  I would celebrate your 1st trip.  It's your first trip as a single mom, your first trip since cancer and your first trip since a tragic loss.  It is time to celebrate beginnings and creating new paths new avenues and new directions.  I know a bit about surviving cancer, unemployment and loss.  I have Disney a place to find laughter in the tears.  It's easy to be a big kid and your little girl can be just who she is a little girl.  This may or may not be your first trip ever, but this is the first trip and can be a fabulous cornerstone and memory for years to come.
