We are Passholders in CA and go to Disneyland and CA Adventure often, so we want to maximize our time in Florida by prioritizing attractions we don't have out here. What are some must-do activities? There'll be 3 of us, including our 4 y.o. son

    Hi Erin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Having had the opportunity to visit Disneyland and California Adventure as well as Walt Disney World many times, I can honestly say that I love them both, but for very different reasons. One of the things that I love about Disneyland Resort is that both of the Theme Parks and Downtown Disney are in such close proximity to each other. With Walt Disney World, the Theme Parks are much further apart and require a bit more planning when it comes to deciding which Park to visit and what to Attractions to make FastPass+ reservations for. Here are my suggestions (considering the age of your son) for "must-do" Attractions/Entertainment at each Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park:

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
    Kilimanjaro Safaris
    Festival of the Lion King
    Rivers of Light
    TriceraTop Spin

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
Disney Junior - Live On Stage!
Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular

    Magic Kingdom Park:
    The Barnstormer
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (38 in. or taller)
Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
*I also suggest riding some of your favorite Attractions from Disneyland Resort that are also at Magic Kingdom Park like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. You'll find that some of the rides offer very different experiences.*

    Epcot:
The Seas with Nemo & Friends
    Coral Reefs
    IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth

I hope these suggestions help in planning your visit. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
