I have a party of 9 (4 A, two 7 YO boys, two 6 YO girls and a 4 YO girl.) If the adults sit with the three younger ones, will the two 7 year old boys be allowed on most rides together? We would rather have them together and one adult solo. Thanks!!

Hi Erin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you're thinking warm thoughts by planning the perfect summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Officially the age policy for attractions is "children under 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older." (Letter 'F') So yes, they may ride together in their own ride vehicle. Not only will this vacation be super fun for the boys because it's Disney World, think about how excited they'll be to have just a tad of older kid independence by flying their own rocket on the Astro Orbiter or sitting in their own car on The Barnstormer. Note that seating arraignments will change from attraction to attraction as very few ride vehicles are built alike.

Some attractions are one vehicle with split rows where you ride two-and-two or three-and-three, and in this case one only adult would be needed with the kids. Attractions like Spaceship Earth, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Expedition Everest, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the new and stunning Na'vi River Journey, plus many more.

And then there are ride vehicles that can basically hold your whole party at once, like Frozen Ever After, Pirates of the Caribbean, Soarin', Splash Mountain, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, etc. In these cases you can let the kids ride together on one row with the adults a row behind them, or you can keep the kids all in the middle with adults positioned on the ends, your call. You can even let one adult ride with all five kids, while the three adults sit out, but I don't think that would qualify for a Rider Switch pass. ;-)

I hope this helped with your planning, Erin, and we'll see you real soon!
