Kids on attraction

We are a party of 13 with 3.5 non riders, broken into 3 riding groups. To use RS/FP+ can group 1 (of 3people) have a FP then do RS with the other part of riding groups then group 2 have a FP and RS with rest of group? Leaving group 3 to have 1 more FP?

Greetings, Michelle! Rider Switch is such a great service for families going to Walt Disney World, especially when you're traveling with a large group of people. I'm happy to chat with you about some of the finer points so you can make sure that everyone in your family gets to see and do their favorite things when you're on vacation!

I think it's really smart that you've split your group up into teams that will be riding together. It's a great way to stay organized when you're planning for how you want to use Rider Switch and your FastPass+ selections. You can certainly use FastPass+ in conjunction with Rider Switch to save even more time, but in order to do this, everyone who intends to ride the attraction must have a valid FastPass+. Let's use your group as an example! If groups one and two want to ride Space Mountain using both Rider Switch and FastPass+ so that the first riding group enters the attraction through the FastPass+ queue, everyone in both riding groups must have a valid FastPass+ when you tap your MagicBand to receive the Rider Switch return time. Of course, group one can always use the standby line to enter and group two will still get to use the FastPass+ queue by redeeming the Rider Switch entitlement. If group three has no interest in Space Mountain and would rather get a FastPass+ for Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor instead, they are certainly welcome to make a separate selection from the two other riding groups.

    Have a magical day, Michelle!
