We are a party of 6 and have made reservations at Ohana's, Crystal Palace and Yak and Yeti. Now my niece has decided to go. I was able to change Ohana's and Crystal Palace to 7 but not Yak and Yeti. Will they let 7 eat there on a reservation for 6?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christy!

As Lilo so eloquently taught us, ‘Ohana means Family. And Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten! And when it comes to dining together at the Walt Disney World Resort, no one should be left behind for a special meal that is meant to bring the family together.

I’m so happy you got to modify your reservations for ‘Ohana and The Crystal Palace to include your niece. Adding to your number of guests when modifying a reservation can be tricky, but it’s not impossible.  I know Cast Members will do their best to accommodate last minute changes to a party whenever possible. That being said, I would definitely encourage you to keep checking back for a Yak and Yeti reservation for your new party size. Guests cancel and change their reservations often, so you might be able to find availability as your date gets closer. You can also try calling Disney’s Dining Reservation Help line at (407) 939-1947 where a helpful cast member can assist you in making that change. But if you end up not finding availability for your party, let the Cast Member know upon check in and I bet they can make some magic happen for you!

Thanks for stopping by. Please do come back and see us again soon for any additional questions or if you need planning advice or tips. Sending you dining reservation pixie dust as you continue dreaming up and planning an unforgettable visit with your family to the Walt Disney World resort!

    See ya real soon,
