We’re a party of 7 (5 adults & 2 kids). 1 kid can’t or doesn’t want to ride, so if we have 3adults & child go as party1 and 2adults wait with other child for party2 will the whole group need fastpass or just party1 for rider switch?

Howdy Sara!  Thank you for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort with a large party!  Your summer vacation sounds amazing!  Planning your itinerary and clearing up all the details far in advance is definitely the best advice I have for your vacation to be relaxing.  Planning with a larger party does add more work to planning your vacation but it also adds more joy and fun!

The Rider Switch service is really helpful when a little adventurer is not quite ready to experience an attraction or does not meet the requirements.  Everyone using a FastPass + reservation in combination with the Rider Switch will require a FastPass + reservation to enter through the FastPass + queue.  This will make each FastPass + attraction that you experience together go swiftly and then you’re on to the next adventure.

Since you are going with a larger party, I highly recommend capturing a few memories with a PhotoPass Photographer.  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel then you can add Memory Maker to your reservation.  I love Memory Maker!  This feature allows you to capture an unlimited amount of photos at one price plus your all in the photo!  For me, Memory Maker is the best way to bring all of the memories home and cherish them for a lifetime!

Your vacation will be here before you know it, Sara!  If you want to stay up-to-date on all the exciting things for 2020, check out the Disney Parks Blog.  Also, if you have any more questions, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
