We have a party of 7, 5 adults 2 children, spread across 3 rooms. If we go out as a group of 7 how do we pay with our dining vouchers and how is the gratuity charged. We all have magic bands and we intend having a credit card linked to the wrists bands.

    Hi Ian,

It seems your vacation is coming up very very soon. Are you ready to enjoy Spring at Walt Disney World Resort?

I remember well when I visited the Resort with my family, my sister and her family, and my parents. We had an unforgettable time, and still remember to this day watching my parents and the grandkids playing with Mickey and his friends, while enjoying an amazing dinner at Chef Mickey’s. Truly a vacation that will be long remembered.

I am sure you will also have a grand time, but don’t worry when it comes down to paying for dinner. Your server will be more than glad to help you split the check as needed, be it applying Dining Plan entitlements to different rooms, or paying out of pocket for specialty drinks or appetizers, for example. Typically, before taking your order, they will ask if you are participating in a Dining Plan, and this will be the time you want to explain how you intend to pay. You can then charge any gratuities to each room’s folio using your MagicBands.

One last tip: if you need to make changes to your dining reservations, note that many Guests change their plans at the last minute, so keep checking. See you real soon!
