Giraffes at Disney's Animal Kingdom

If my party is 2 adults and 3 children, can I book a studio at animal kingdom that “sleeps 4 adults”? I don’t mind being squished, just didn’t know if it were allowed.

    Hi Lauren,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Maximum occupancy levels for a given Walt Disney World Resort hotel room can’t be modified, even if you’re willing to cozy up with the rest of your family. Unless one of your 3 children is an infant, your family of 5 unfortunately won’t be able to book a studio room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village.

If your budget allows you to splurge a bit on your accommodations, I highly recommend looking into booking a One Bedroom Villa. We’re Disney Vacation Club members and we often book those villas for our trips to Walt Disney World Resort and, frankly, the space and additional amenities (including a full kitchen, two bathrooms and a washer/dryer) really can’t be beat. Your family of 5 would have plenty of space in one of those rooms.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
