Our party of 5 adults will be arriving at one of the Disney inside park hotels between 6 and 9 PM. We plan to spend the next two full days at Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Can we access the hotel without buying a park pass on that arrival night?

Hi Sid! What a good question! Even though the resort hotels are located on Disney property, they are not actually inside the theme parks, so you do not need a park pass to reach your hotel. You can check into your resort, dine at restaurants at any of the hotels, visit Downtown Disney, and even ride the monorail without a theme park ticket. You will, of course, need your tickets to enter the Magic Kingdom and Epcot (as well as the other parks) and experience the rides and attractions there.

If you'd like to look at a map of Disney World and see the location of the the parks and the various resort hotels, click here.
