Mom And Son On Run

I will be going to all the parks with my 3 1/2 year old, who must take naps daily. We are not staying at a Disney hotel so I was wondering if there were any suggestions for a quiet dark places I could maybe sit with him for him to possibly nap or rest.

My best recommendation would be one of the movies in Epcot.  In the France Pavilion, they show a movie called "Impressions de France".  I watched it a few years ago, the narration is very calming and the theater is dark.  You can try to have him sit on your lap and hope he falls asleep.

I would highly recommend bringing a stroller.  If your lucky you will be able to get him to fall asleep in it.  I will warn you it can be hard.  My daughter who normally naps everyday would only nap for us every other day during our last trip.  Her worst breakdown was on a day when she took a very late nap and then had to be woken up for dinner.

Some other attractions throughout the park that are dark are:

Turtle Talk with Crush, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Country Bear Jamboree

These attractions have shows that are geared towards young kids.  If he's not really tired he may just end up watching the shows.

    Good luck
