The parks that have FastPass+ tiers; which is all but MK now. Is it strict you get one FP+ from tier 1 and 2 FP+ from tier 2 or is there some flexibility where I can forgo tier 1 and pick three FP+ from tier 2?

    Hi Charles,

You absolutely can use all of your FastPass+ choices on the "Tier 2" rides and attractions at Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. You've got lots of great choices in that category (second tier in no way means second-rate!) and often have much better availability.

At Animal Kingdom, the only rides currently in the restricted tier are Avatar Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey, both in the new Pandora -- The World of Avatar. I had a chance to preview both recently and I can attest that they are spectacular.

At Hollywood Studios, the Tier 1 attractions are Beauty and the Beast -- Live on Stage; Fantasmic!; The Great Movie Ride; Rock 'n' Roller Coaster; and Toy Story Mania!

At Epcot, the tier includes Frozen Ever After; Soarin'; Test Track; and IllumiNations.

As you mentioned, as of now, there is no tier system at Magic Kingdom. You can choose any of the many rides and attractions there among your first three FastPass+ picks.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Charles. I hope that's helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your vacation. Enjoy!
